Technical Effects
Mechatrons FX specialises in technically advanced practical effects, combining mechanical engineering, electronics and programming to solve complex production requirements.
Where Practical Effects Meets Engineering
Every practical effects company can deliver fire, smoke and atmospherics. Where Mechatrons FX differs is what happens when a shot calls for something that does not have an off-the-shelf solution: animatronic performance, complex moving mechanisms, functional electronics and bespoke builds engineered specifically around the requirements of the scene.
Built In-House, Proven On Set
Every mechanism, circuit and control system is designed, fabricated, wired and tested at our Dublin workshop before it reaches a set, then rigged and operated by the same team that built it — one point of contact for a production’s full technical effects requirement.
